The Atletico Madrid star failed to find the net when Colombia took on Brazil on Thursday morning, but could soon make a jaw-dropping €60 million move to Stamford Bridge

David Luiz believes that Radamel Falcao would be a perfect fit for Chelsea, if he were to make the move to Stamford Bridge.

Goal.com revealed on Tuesday that the Atletico Madrid man has set his heart on a switch to west London and the Blues have opened negotiations for a €60 million deal for him.

David Luiz saw Falcao first-hand on Thursday morning as Brazil took on Colombia in New Jersey, and claims that the striker's arrival at Stamford Bridge would delight the current squad.

When asked if Falcao would be the right man for the Blues, the Stamford Bridge star told reporters: "Of course [he'd be a great fit]. All of the players would be happy because Falcao is a great player. It's particularly hard to stop him."

The prospective deal to take Falcao to Chelsea meets the buy-out clause in his Atleti contract and is just short of the £50m (€62m) paid for Fernando Torres to Liverpool almost two years ago.

The striker, nicknamed El Tigre, has been in blistering form this term, netting 13 times in just 11 games in all competitions, including a stunning hat-trick as Atletico demolished Chelsea 4-1 in the Uefa Super Cup.

The friendly between the two South American sides finished 1-1, with Neymar cancelling out Colombia's opener, before the Santos star missed a penalty which could have given the Selecao a win.
