| PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEKEND |
Parramatta FC
The Eagles earn performance of the weekend honours for the second-straight week after a stunning 3-2 win over the Sutherland Sharks. A week after taking the huge scalp of the South Coast Wolves, Parramatta recorded a second-consecutive victory to move to within three points of the Blacktown Spartans. While they face the huge task of the White Eagles in Round 20, winnable games against Manly United and the Rockdale City Suns follow as Parramatta look to secure safety.
| AFTERTHOUGHTS |
It was a matter of several finals contenders falling over in disappointing performances in Round 19. Marconi, the South Coast Wolves and Blacktown City all lost, while the Sutherland Sharks also missed their chance. The big winners were Sydney Olympic - moving three points clear in second - and Sydney United 58, who are within five points of an unlikely top-five spot.
