With all nations finalising their preparations for the tournament, we ask you who will fail to ignite during their campaign this month
We are just one day away from the tournament opener and 16 nations will be making their final preparations as they embark on a demanding Euro 2012 campaign.
The pressure is on the current holders, Spain, who head into the tournament with three friendly wins during their build-up, but face a campaign without the injured duo of Carles Puyol and David Villa.
Former goalkeeper Jens Lehmann wrote in his inaugural Goal.com column that Germany should not be considered favourites - but Joachim Low's side have generally impressed in their warm-up games barring a defeat against Switzerland.
Netherlands boast one of the most potent attacking line-ups in the tournament but questions have been raised over the defensive fragility of Bert van Marwijk's side.
France, too, have enjoyed a positive build-up to Euro 2012 but there are also concerns over the sturdiness of their defence. While England, who face Laurent Blanc's side in their Group D opener on Monday, have enjoyed a steady preparation to the tournament with wins over Norway and Belgium but have suffered three heavy squad casualties as Gareth Barry, Frank Lampard and Gary Cahill were ruled out of the campaign through injury.
Italy have lost both of their preparations games against the USA and Russia, while Portugal have also struggled after a lifeless draw against Macedonia was followed with a 3-1 defeat to Turkey.
But who do you think will be the biggest flop at Euro 2012? Take a vote in our poll and leave us your thoughts below...
