China coach Jose Antonio Camacho was effusive in his praise for Andres Iniesta after watching his side's hope of claiming a famous draw with Spain on Sunday night dashed by the brilliance of the Barcelona midfielder.

The friendly encounter in Seville looked destined to finish scoreless but Iniesta was introduced during the break and went through his full repertoire of tricks before eventually setting up David Silva for the winner with just six minutes left on the clock.

Camacho was left disappointed by the nature of his side's defeat, but that did not stop him from lauding the match-winner, admitting: "Only he knows how to do these things!"

The former Spain boss was also keen to wish his compatriots all the best ahead of the defence of their European Championship title in Poland and Ukraine.

"Spain believe in what they do; they have absolute confidence in their style of play," the 56-year-old coach told reporters after the friendly defeat.

"I wished good luck to [Vicente] Del Bosque and congratulated him [on the win]."

Spain kick off their campaign against Italy on June 10 before then taking on Republic of Ireland and Croatia.
