Del Bosque happy with friendly victory: Everything was positive
The experienced trainer was relieved that he has no injuries to contend with and applauded the displays of the players who are set to return home on Friday
Spain head coach Vicente del Bosque has stated that he is happy with his side's performance after their 4-1 friendly victory against South Korea. The European and World champions went into half-time with the scores tied at 1-1, but second-half goals from Xabi Alonso, Santi Cazorla and Alvaro Negredo earned them their second pre-Euro friendly victory in two games.
"Everything was positive," he told reporters after the clash. "Nobody was injured and we accomplished all our goals.
"We faced an opponent who did not let us play well."
Del Bosque also admitted that he was happy with the performances of the players who did not make the cut for the final squad to travel to Poland and Ukraine.
"They all played well, even though they know that they will not be here on Friday," the 61-year-old added.
"On June 1, we will have the full squad and we hope that everything continues to go well."
Spain will kick off their Euro 2012 campaign against Italy on June 10 before taking on the Republic of Ireland (June 14) and Croatia (June 18).
