The powerful forward admitted that he will be deeply disappointed if he does not make the squad for London after he was in impressive form for the Selecao on Saturday
The 25-year-old put in a strong display in the Selecao's 3-1 victory against Denmark, picking up a double in the first half, while being involved in Niki Zimling's own goal.
And Hulk, who is fighting for one of the three places at the Olympic Games for players aged over 23, is hopeful that his performance will have convinced coach Mano Menezes to include him in the squad for London.
"Mano is calmly watching, giving a chance to the players, those who are here and those who did not make this squad," he told reporters after the match.
"We have to take advantage of the opportunities to be part of the group all the time.
"But it is clear that I will be hurt if I am not in the squad for the tournament."
Brazil have been drawn with Egypt, Belarus and New Zealand for London 2012, with Menezes due to announce the squad for the competition on July 6.
