Moratti: Don't blame Stramaccioni for defeats

The 67-year-old has called on Inter players to take responsibility for their performances and believes the team need to improve ahead of the Milanese derby next week
Inter president Massimo Moratti has defended boss Andrea Stramaccioni, saying that accountability for the club's poor performances should be shared by the team.The Nerazzurri slumped to their eighth defeat of the league season in Sunday's 4-1 defeat by Fiorentina, and the Inter chief believes the playing-staff are equally as culpable for the loss as the management.
Speaking to reporters, Moratti said: "Stramaccioni does not take all the blame. The errors that happened last night are not all his."
The 67-year-old also stressed the need for improvement ahead of next week's clash with bitter rivals Milan.
He added: Yesterday there was a team on the field, but next weekend [against Milan] we need some fighters."
Sunday's defeat means third-placed Lazio can extend their lead over Inter by four points in the race for Champions League qualification with the Biancocelesti due to face Siena on Monday night.
