Kitchee general manager has urged everyone to stop requesting tickets for the clash between Kitchee FC and Manchester United, emphasising he does not control their distribution
He has come out saying that he cannot and will not provide passes in a "special way".
Ng revealed he had received calls from friends and family over the Lunar New Year period, not only to receive well wishes, but also requests for the tickets.
He said: "Please don't ask me about the tickets anymore. I want to help you guys, but I can't. Honestly, I can't control everything although I am the host of this event."
On his blog, the Kitchee GM wrote that he is not Wong Tai Sin [a Chinese God] and he cannot give people everything they want.
"Somebody even joked that I must replace money with the tickets when giving out hong baos [red packets]," he added.
Ng only received 4,000 of 40,000 tickets available and will have to distribute them to Kitchee's staff and sponsors.
Fans who want to buy tickets can line up or purchase them online via CityLine.com when tickets go on sale on February 20.
Another way to get the tickets, Ng suggested, would be to participate in the Lunar New Year Cup's lucky draw, where 20 winners will walk away with two free tickets and 50 others will be awarded the priority to purchase two tickets each.
The Kitchee boss sends out his Lunar New Year wishes to all and hopes that fans would support local football more by attending at least 15 matches each season.
