The Burmese starlet's agent has proclaimed his charge is ready for the European leagues after a series of scintillating performances
Kyi Lin's agent has expressed his wishes to send the Burma international to play in Europe in the future.
In Myanmar's 1-1 draw with Vietnam in the Suzuki Cup, Kyi won and converted the equalising penalty and proved a handful for his opponents' defence with his direct running and crossings.
His starring performance has led to his agent Dragan Jakovljevic belief that the young starlet is capable enough of playing in Europe.
"Kyi Lin's form caused havoc for Vietnam defenders and he even scored the penalty that resulted in the 1-1 final score, it makes me think that he impresses many people which of course includes myself," Jakovljevic said.
"We have a plan to send this Yangon United player for a trial in Europe but we have to see again which team, but I am confident that this player for sure has a strong mentality to compete in Europe."
Kyi was a key member for Yangon United in their capture of the Myanmar National League title, and was also part of Goal.com’s Asian Best XI for October 2012.
Myanmar will next face Thailand who won their first match against Philippines 2-1 on Tuesday evening.
