Oldham Athletic's Australian contingent has now swelled to four, with the signing of former Liverpool and Manchester United trainee Liam Jacob on a one-year deal
The 17-year-old becomes the third Australian goalkeeper at the League One club, and will serve behind Alex Cisak [pictured above] - the club's first-choice shot-stopper in the 2011-12 campaign - and Dean Bouzanis at Boundary Park.
Midfielder James Wesolowski completes the Australian quartet at Oldham, who finished 16th last campaign under former Manchester City striker Paul Dickov.
Sydney-born Jacob joined Liverpool upon his arrival in England before moving to United in July 2010.
The Australia Under-17 representative made 17 appearances for their academy team and featured twice in the FA Youth Cup, and was five times named among the substitutes for United's reserve side.
