The A-League grand final between Western Sydney Wanderers and Central Coast Mariners appears destined to be played in front of a bumper crowd at the Allianz Arena on Sunday.

Supporters were quick to get their hands on tickets for the upcoming clash, as the general public allocation for the 45,500-capacity stadium was purchased within a few hours.

Corporate hospitality remains available, with Football Federation Australia announcing a small amount of tickets may become available to the public in the next two days.

Tickets include access to public transport to and from the game.

The Allianz Arena has hosted two previous A-League grand finals, the last of which was in 2008.

A crowd of 36,354 watched the Newcastle Jets defeat the Central Coast Mariners that day, while 41,689 people witnessed Sydney FC become champions in 2006.
