thumbnail Hello,

The Glory seemed to have the 2011-12 title in their grasp until some late drama, but can they bounce back to establish themselves as regular members of the league's elite?

THE KEYS

STAR MAN: Shane Smeltz ONE TO WATCH:  Adrian Zahra

Instrumental in Perth's regular season and finals form, his experience and finishing prowess are second to none and will be vital to the Glory again this campaign.

The diminutive winger has lurked in the shadows since the infamous Kevin Muscat tackle while with Heart but could prove an inspired transfer if he can return to full fitness.

THE LOWDOWN

With a similar squad to last season, Glory fans can expect another competitive year.  Perth have added some strength to the backline in Michael Thwaite and Scott Jamieson, with Mitchell and Neville going to the Jets.  But do the Glory have enough quality and creativity to make that final step - up from contenders to champions?
