Lyon reveal Gomis bids

The club have admitted their star striker could move on this summer, with a number of interested parties registering their interest in his services
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that his club have received three offers for Bafetimbi Gomis, with a fourth believed to be imminent.

Although Aulas didn’t reveal the potential suitors, the France international has recently been linked with Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen and Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk.

"We had three proposals and we will probably be receive a fourth soon. He could gain a greater financial package than with OL. The proposal on offer will make him the envy of many players,” he told L’Equipe.

“We look forward to his return from holidays to discuss. His agents will explain everything about the potential moves."

The 27-year-old's contract at Stade de Gerland expires next summer but Lyon could still hold out for a fee in the region of 12 million.

Gomis enjoyed a successful season for les Gones last term, scoring 20 goals as he helped his side to a third-placed finish, and a spot in the final qualifying round of the Champions League.
