The midfielder was already believed to be close to joining the Parisiens a year ago, but the move failed to materialised.
The Ligue 1 leaders have scheduled a press conference for 17:00, where they are expected to announce the capture of Beckham.
Meanwhile, former Manchester United team-mate Gary Neville is confident that his former team-mate will succeed at in France.
"He’s still incredibly fit, I don’t think there will be a problem with his medical and he’s always been an incredibly fit player and someone who has got incredible stamina," Neville told Sky Sports.
"It’s another chance for him to continue to play at a really good level of football. Paris Saint-Germain have got a good team with plenty of exceptional players. He knows the manager there so that would be a positive move for him."
