Inter acquire full ownership of Benassi
The 2010 Champions League winners have purchased the remaining 50 per cent of the midfielder's economical rights after his league debut and see him as an exciting prospect
Inter have announced on their official website that they have acquired full ownership of promising youngster Marco Benassi.The 18-year-old recently made his Serie A debut in the 2-0 win over Pescara and is seen as one of the Nerazzurri's biggest talents.
Therefore, they have now purchased the other half of the midfielder's economical rights.
"The co-ownership deal regarding midfielder Marco Benassi was consensually resolved and will see the Nerazzurri become the outright owners of his contract," a statement on the club's website reads.
"Inter wish to thank Modena Football Club for the cooperation they showed during the negotiations."
Benassi is a product of the Modena youth academy, but made the move to Inter in January 2011.
