Centurion ignores Porto and Benfica interest

The Racing midfielder, who has been called up to the Argentina squad recently, insists that transfer speculation linking him to Europe will not affect his focus or performances
Ricardo Centurion insists that he is ignoring transfer interest from European clubs, and is focused on playing well for Argentina.

The Racing midfielder, who was recently called up to Alejandro Sabella's Albiceleste squad, has reportedly attracted Porto and Benfica's attention ahead of the January transfer window.

Speaking to Goal.com Argentina, Centurion dismissed any possibility of leaving South America in the foreseeable future.

The 19-year-old said: "I’m not aware of what is happening.

"I don’t think about my future, just about my present.

"I try not to watch TV or read newspapers because I want to keep my attention on the Argentina national team."
