Juventus prepare Cuadrado swoop

The Serie A champions are keen to sign the Colombia international, but have lined up Alessio Cerci in case they miss out on their main target

Juventus are ready to make a move for Fiorentina attacker Juan Cuadrado at the end of the season.

Conte is considering changing Juve's shape to a 4-3-3 as the Serie A champions attempt to replicate their Italian dominance in the Champions League next season.

However, luring the 25-year-old to Turin will not be an easy task as the winger is currently co-owned by Udinese and Fiorentina and much will depend on the outcome of negotiations between these two sides.

The Bianconeri enjoy a fine relationship with Udinese - illustrated by the transfers of Kwadwo Asamoah and Mauricio Isla in recent years - and the Old Lady are hopeful of securing the services of Cuadrado if the winger ends up at the club he first joined in the summer of 2009.

Things will be much more complicated for Juventus if Fiorentina acquire the remaining 50 per cent of Cuadrado's rights, though, as the Artemio Franchi side will be unlikely to part company with the Colombian attacker unless a big-money offer comes in.

Meanwhile, Juventus directors Fabio Paratici and Giuseppe Marotta speak to Cuadrado's agent Alessandro Lucci, who also represents Mirko Vucinic among others, on a regular basis and they are ready to pounce if the opportunity arises.

The reigning champions have acknowledged there's no guarantee they will get their man, however, and they have lined up Torino winger Alessio Cerci as an alternative option in case they fail to sign Cuadrado.

The 26-year-old has been in excellent form for Juventus' city rivals in 2013-14, scoring 10 goals in 22 appearances and creating several more in the process.

Cerci's fine performances have earned him the interest of a number of bigger clubs, but Torino have so far insisted that they will only sell the Italy international if their demands are met.

The attacker has a contract with Torino until the summer of 2015.
