Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is hopeful that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will stay at the Ligue 1 champions until the end of his career.
Ibrahimovic, 32, was linked with Juventus and Real Madrid during the summer transfer window, but eventually opted to stay put and signed a new contract with PSG until the summer of 2016, much to the delight of Al-Khelaifi.
"He's said he wanted to retire at this club and it will be his last club," Al-Khelaifi told the BBC.
"I think he is one of the best three players in the world.
"He deserves to be the best player in the world this year with the things he is doing."
Ibrahimovic has already scored 12 goals in all competitions for PSG this season, including seven in four Champions League outings.
