Top three is Marseille's priority, insists Baup

The 58-year-old has stressed that his side cannot afford to get carried away following their fine results in recent weeks
Olympique de Marseille coach Elie Baup insists that a top-three finish is his side's priority this season.

Les Phoceens have moved to within four points of table-toppers Paris Saint-Germain following their 1-0 win over Bordeaux on Friday, but Baup refuses to get carried away with the team's form.

"We're going to start by trying to stay in the top three until the end of the season," Baup was quoted as saying on the official Ligue 1 website.

"The team has solidarity for each other, the desire to make an effort for each other, and the idea not to give anything away.

"It's the last five to six matches that will count."

Marseille resume Ligue 1 action on April 12 when they travel to Lille, while table-toppers PSG face Stade Rennais on Saturday afternoon.
