Cambiasso is my role model, says Benassi
The promising youngster has singled out the Argentine midfielder as an example to follow, and is eagerly anticipating the match versus Juventus
Marco Benassi has revealed that Inter team-mate Esteban Cambiasso is a role model for him, while he has also hailed Javier Zanetti's role in his development. The promising midfielder, 18, recently made his first-team debut at the Nerazzurri, and he is determined to prove his worth in the remainder of the 2012-13 campaign.
"All my team-mates have helped me in my development, though obviously no one's got as much experience as Zanetti and Cambiasso," Benassi told Mediaset.
"Who do I look to as my role model? In my position I'd say Cambiasso.
"At the moment I'm just focused on doing as well as I possibly can, then in July I'll sit down with the club and we'll decide what to do next season."
The midfielder then looked ahead to the Serie A clash against Juventus after the international break, and stressed that Inter will do their utmost to get a good result against their rivals.
He added: "We have an important match coming up against Juventus, historically there's a lot of rivalry there and we have to try and get a good result."
Benassi has made eight official appearances for Inter so far.
