Gargano: Icardi & Campagnaro would be good signings for Inter
The Uruguay international is hopeful that the former Barcelona starlet and experienced defender will make the move to the Giuseppe Meazza side
Inter midfielder Walter Gargano has made it clear that he would welcome Sampdoria starlet Mauro Icardi and Napoli's Hugo Campagnaro with open arms if they were to join the Nerazzurri.Icardi has caught the attention of the Giuseppe Meazza side with his fine performances this term, while Campagnaro is expected to leave his current club on a Bosman move at the end of the season, and appears to be on his way to Inter.
"Campagnaro is a player who can be very important for a team," Gargano told Mediaset.
"He's a calm and relaxed guy off the pitch, but he transforms as soon as he enters the pitch. Everyone knows what he can do and he would help Inter a lot.
"Icardi? Everybody has seen what the boy can do... He is a player with a lot of quality. He could add something that we need if he were to join Inter."
The young attacker's agent stressed earlier this week that Icardi is not on his way to Inter, but speculation about the 19-year-old's future continues.
