The Sweden striker was quick to tell the Lyon president to pay more attention to his own team, warning that PSG are a major threat this season as they are the best team in France

Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has told Olympique Lyonnais president Jean-Michel Aulas to "concentrate on his own team" after he criticised the Swedish international for an alleged stamp on Dejan Lovren.

The striker was adjudged by Aulas to have stamped on the forehead of the Lyon defender during his side's 1-0 Ligue 1 win on Sunday, but no action was taken by the officials during the match.

After watching replays of the incident, Lyon's president voiced his opinion on Ibrahimovic's actions, saying the stamp was deliberate.

"I do not read the French press, but he had to say something," Ibrahimovic told beIN Sport.

"I think it's sad that he says that. He represents Lyon, he should concentrate on his team.

"If you try to attack people like that, it shows you're afraid. He should be afraid because PSG is by and large the best team in France. It shows that he is afraid and that he's not concentrating on his own matters."

PSG chief Leonardo also shared his feelings on Aulas' comments, stating that he believes the Lyon president is simply keen to paper over the cracks of their defeat.

"Aulas, who is he to judge?" Leonardo told reporters.

"All he wants is to distract from the poor performance of his team," he said.
