The Sweden international, who supplied assists for his side's first two goals in the match, went on to fire home the third and fourth strikes against the Ligue 1 new boys at Parc des Princes.
His latest double makes it 12 league goals for the season and 14 in all competitions since moving to les Parisiens from AC Milan during the summer.
Prior to joining PSG in the summer, the 31-year-old had enjoyed similarly prolific spells at Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter and Barcelona, as well as the Rossoneri.
He has also enjoyed a hot streak in front of goal at international level, scoring eight times in eight appearances for Sweden in 2012.
