El Shaarawy delighted with Italy goal, says agent
The Rossoneri star's representative has revealed the 20-year old's happiness about his strike for the Azzurri against France on Wednesday evening
Stephan El Shaarawy was thrilled with his goal for Italy in their friendly against France, according to his agent. The AC Milan forward opened the scoring in the game on Wednesday night, as well as his goal-scoring account for his country.
It was the attacker's 10th goal in 14 games and the starlet's representative has spoke of the striker's joy despite eventually losing 2-1 to Les Bleus
“Stephan and I were together after the game,” Roberto Lo Florio told RadioCrc.
“He was really delighted to score, but disappointed with the result.
“Italy did not deserve to lose, they suffered a lot of bad luck but the important thing for Stephan now is to get back and play well for Milan.
“He has made the most of his opportunities this season but we need to keep our feet firmly on the ground.
“Unfortunately, Milan are going through a difficult time at the moment, having sold all their senior players – it's going to be a year of reconstruction and transition.”
Milan are currently in 13th place in this season's Serie A table with 14 points from 12 games and play Napoli in Naples at the weekend.
