The former Napoli forward has stressed that nobody is guaranteed a start at the Bianconeri, and added that it is not all about scoring for Antonio Conte
The 29-year-old faces stiff competition from the likes of Alessandro Matri, Mirko Vucinic, Nicklas Bendtner and Sebastian Giovinco for a starting berth.
But, the Italy international has made it clear they all have a part to play and are all confident of making an impact when given the chance.
"There are five strikers and the coach has always been straight with us from the start. He picks two for every game and we all feel first choice," the attacker was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
"It’s possible to play two or three games in a row and then start on the bench or be in the stands.
"We know that goals are expected from the strikers, but Conte mainly looks at our contribution to the play and movement. But what matters is that our sacrifices bear fruit."
Quagliarella has netted five goals in 10 appearances so far this season.
