The 19-year-old Italian has defended himself by emphasising that his first thought is always to retain the ball, and says that he is improving as a footballer
The young playmaker signed for the French team from Pescara in July but has already been pulled to one side by the Italian trainer and warned about the danger of dribbling in certain areas.
“When I look back at my games, I do realise that I take risks,” the 19-year-old told L’Equipe.
“However, on the pitch, the first thing I think about is not losing the ball and finding the right pass.
“Ancelotti has told me on numerous occasions that I shouldn’t keep the ball for too long in certain zones."
The youngster then went on to say that several senior players in the squad have passed on helpful words too.
“Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva also advise me to play the simple pass. I need to take in what these champions are telling me," he explained.
“However, I am getting better even if it is obvious that I need to grow in terms of experience.”
PSG currently lie top of Ligue 1 on goal difference, ahead of second place Olympique de Marseille.
