VIDEO: Serbia 6-1 Wales

After a 0-0 draw with Scotland, all eyes were on the Eastern Europeans to pick up a positive result at home - a task which they carried out with gusto
Serbia boss Sinisa Mihajlovic was under pressure from fans having failed to score more than one goal in his previous five matches, but a 6-1 World Cup qualifying rout of Wales has understandably won the White Eagles' faithful back to his side.

Aleksandar Kolarov opened the scoring with a trademark free kick before some unconvincing defending allowed Zoran Tosic to double the hosts' advantage.

Gareth Bale gave the Dragons a boost with a spectacular set-piece goal on the half-hour mark, but Serbia's two-goal advantage was soon restored by Filip Duricic.

More woeful defending led to a fourth goal for the Serbs, Branislav Ivanovic providing the assist for a Dusan Tadic tap-in before the towering Chelsea defender netted one of his own after 80 minutes to bring the tally to five.

Still not content, Miralem Sulejmani completed the 6-1 rout with mere seconds to go, leaving Chris Coleman's side with plenty to think about before their next round of qualifying matches.
