Toni Munoz believes that his club are well-staffed with the current crop of talent at Coliseum Alfonso Perez, and warned that further acquisitions depend on exits
Getafe's sporting director Toni Munoz has warned that the club will look to sell any players before bringing any others into the side.
The Madrid side have already snapped up four new faces this summer, including recent signing Xavi Torres.
However, despite being linked to several other players, Munoz insists Los Azulones will look to move some of the squad on before dipping back into the market.
“Obviously we have many attacking players and the coach wants to have fewer numbers," he told reporters at a press conference.
“There are players currently here who might raise interest, but until then, we will not take any steps at all.”
The Liga side have been linked to Espanyol’s Alvaro Vazquez, but the former Atletico Madrid director Munoz insists it will take a player to leave before they approach Vazquez.
“We have three strikers and the bottom line is, unless one leaves then we will not sign Alvaro or any other player.
"Regardless of what happens, if the coach has 22 or 23 players, the season is very long, but let’s try to move out one player who might not get much time on the pitch. That is the goal."
