The Eredivisie outfit inserted a sell-on clause into the Morocco international's €1.1 million transfer to the Kadir Has Stadium during last year's January transfer window
The Morocco international, who was born in Netherlands, swapped the Philips Stadion for Kadir Has Stadium during the January 2011 transfer window.
PSV inserted a sell-on clause in the deal guaranteeing them a 20 per cent cut of any future transfer involving the player, who joined Galatasaray earlier in July.
The Turkish champions paid approximately €5 million for Amrabat, who also stumped up €3m for Kayserispor to surrender his image rights.
PSV, though, were only entitled to 20% of the fee paid by Gala, minus the €1.1m Kayserispor paid the Eredivisie outfit for the player last year.
Following the deduction of expenses and other liabilities, PSV will end up pocketing a grand total of €600,000 from the deal.
The 25-year-old Amrabat, who represented Netherlands at Under-21 level, has been capped nine times by Morocco.
