The Ligue 1 champion believes the Parisian side have learnt their lesson from last season, and will be the strong favourites for the title this time roundMontpellier left-back Henri Bedimo thinks that his side will be fighting for second in the upcoming Ligue 1 season, despite winning the title last year, due to Paris Saint-Germain's might in the transfer market.
The Parisians have strengthened their squad considerably already during this transfer window, bringing in the likes of Thiago Silva and Ezequiel Lavezzi, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic also set to move to Parc des Princes.
The Cameroon international played an important role as his team won the title in 2011-12, but he believes it will be far more difficult for them to repeat such an achievement in this campaign.
"We know they [PSG] are untouchable. Even if we could equal them in a match, we know we will have to fight for second place," he told RMC.
"PSG have learned their lesson from last season. They did not know the Ligue 1 would be such a difficult championship, but they will not make the same mistake twice."
"We will try to defend our title as long as possible."
Montpellier will have a tough job replacing their star striker Olivier Giroud, who scored 21 league goals in their title-winning campaign, but left the club for Arsenal this summer.
