Ireland-born Libya international Eamon Zayed is poised to extend his current contract with Tehran giants Persepolis, according to Iranian reports.

The 28-year-old striker made an impressive impact after joining Persepolis last December on a six-month deal, netting 12 goals in 15 appearances.

According to The Tehran Times, Zayed has reached an agreement with club officials over a new deal to extend his stay with Piroozi.

Meanwhile, Sepahan's Brazilian midfielder Fabio Januario has agreed to a one-year deal with Esteghlal after a reported fallout with coach Zlatjko Kranjcar.

“I am glad because I’ve returned to my former team. I have a good relationship with all Esteghlal players. Also, I’ve worked under guidance of coach Amir Ghalenoei at Esteghlal and Sepahan,” Januario said according to The Tehran Times.

Januario has won the Iranian title on three occasions, once with Esteghlal in the 2008-09 season, as well as twice with Sepahan in the past two campaigns.
