Uzbekistan international duo Geynrikh and Kapadze join Kazakh club Aktobe
The Uzbek duo have both decided to leave their UAE clubs to join the Kazakh outfit who were domestic champions from 2005 through to 2009
Uzbekistan internationals Aleksandr Geynrikh and Timur Kapadze have signed with Aktobe according to the Kazakh club.Geynrikh, 27, joins the club from UAE outfit Emirates, while Uzbek captain Kapadze, 30, arrives from Al Sharjah.
Both players were involved in recent 2014 World Cup qualifiers for Uzbekistan, who begun their final round campaign with a 1-0 home loss to Iran and a 1-1 draw away to Lebanon.
Geynrikh can play as an attacking midfielder or striker, having previous experience with Korean club Suwon Bluewings as well as Russian outfit CSKA Moscow.
Kapadze is a midfielder who has previously plied his trade with Bunyodkor and Pakhtakor as well as K-League club Incheon United. The veteran holds the record as the most capped Uzbek player.
