The Boca Juniors playmaker is not one of the five domestic-based players called up to Alejandro Sabella's list for the encounters against Ecuador and Brazil

Alejandro Sabella has elected to leave Juan Roman Riquelme out of his Argentina squad for the upcoming internationals against Ecuador and Brazil.

The Boca Juniors star had admitted that he was not expecting to make the cut for the June friendlies, and is now confirmed that he will not be one of the Argentina-based players called up to supplement the foreign-based squad that was announced last week.
