The Portuguese trainer is looking forward to the upcoming friendly encounter against Kuwait, and has promised to field his strongest available team to uphold the club's honour
The newly-crowned Liga champions travelled to Kuwait on Tuesday and will lock horns with their national team on Wednesday, and Mourinho has promised he will field all of the team's available star players.
"We know it's a friendly, but Real Madrid always have to elevate their prestige as much as possible. That's why we've travelled with the entire team," Mourinho stated at a press conference.
"Everyone will play tomorrow to honour their names and the prestige of Real Madrid. They are a little tired because of the tough season we had, but everyone's in good form.
"We have respect for Kuwait's national team, but people should realise we just celebrated winning the league title, we had a seven-hour flight and we've hardly trained for this. We intend to play a good game, though, and we'll try to win."
Wednesday's game at the Kaifan Stadium kicks off at 19.15 local time.
