Ronaldinho had been part of the preliminary 52-man list for the Olympic Games, but failed to make the cut in what is the last squad before Menezes announces the players who will be competing in London.
AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato, who has been plagued by injuries this season, is a surprise entry in the list, while Fluminense forward Wellington Nem has earned his first call-up with the senior national team.
Brazil will take on Denmark on May 26 before meeting the United States (May 30), Mexico (June 3) and Argentina (June 9).
The Selecao have been drawn with Egypt, Belarus and New Zealand in their Olympic Games group.
