The attacking player praised the Catalan boss and stated that all the players in the Blaugrana squad support the trainer and wish he extends his contract at Camp NouBarcelona's game against Sporting Gijon, Pedro stated that he hopes coach Pep Guardiola will stay on with the club.
It has been speculated that the trainer could leave the Catalan club at the end of the season when his contract runs out, and reports suggest Inter president Massimo Moratti is hoping to bring him to the Giuseppe Meazza.
Pedro stated that the players are certain Guardiola will extent his deal, but reiterated that the 41-year-old has the final say on the matter.
"It is clear that we all will stand by his side and support him, we are sure he is going to renew his contract, that he will go on.
"He is a very important person for the club, he knows how it works. I think all Barca fans want him as well and I hope he renews as soon as possible.
"As I say, he has the last word. He has to decide, but we need to support him and hope for positive news, of course."
Saturday's clash at Camp Nou between Barcelona and Sporting Gijon kicks off at 20.00CET.
