Ian Ferguson's Glory emerged victorious from their clash with Newcastle at nib Stadium in Perth on Saturday when an 85th-minute Chris Harold strike gave them a 3-2 victory, while Adelaide are coming off a gritty 1-0 win at reigning champions Brisbane Roar.
Perth will have no fear of John Kosmina's side, however, having won their past four meetings against the Reds. Travel will not bother Ferguson's men either - their last two wins over Adelaide have come at Hindmarsh Stadium by scores of 2-0 and 3-0.
Adelaide, with four wins from their opening five matches of the season, will be keen to stamp their title credentials with a win over a team which has had the advantage over them in recent games.
The Reds are likely to return left-back Cassio back into the first XI after he missed last Sunday's win over Brisbane through illness, with Antony Golec returning to the centre of defence and Nigel Boogaard dropping out.
It could be the only chance for the hosts, while their opponents must decide whether to rush usual first-choice striker Shane Smeltz back for a start after missing the last three matches due to a hamstring injury.
Captain Jacob Burns is likely to miss again through injury, but Steve Pantelidis is once more available after serving his one-match ban for a straight red card against Sydney FC in Week 4.
He may return to a defence that must keep an eye on Reds forward Jeronimo Neumann, who - while also sparking a diving row - has also struck four goals in his debut season.
