The Selecao return to action in November as the Brasil Global Tour lands in England for clashes against Uruguay and Cameroon

This month Brazil return to action for the final time in 2018 as the Brasil Global Tour returns to England.

BGT took the five-time world champions to USA in September where they recorded wins over USA and El Salvador, before October brought victories over Saudi Arabia and Argentina in the Middle East.

Coach Tite agreed to remain after the World Cup to continue his excellent work and has maintained a perfect record since the Selecao’s World Cup quarter-final elimination at the hands of Belgium in June.

With one eye firmly focused on Copa America 2019, the work ahead of World Cup 2022 in Qatar starts now.

WHO ARE BRAZIL PLAYING THIS MONTH?

The Chevrolet Brasil Global Tour returns with a double-header in the United Kingdom.

Brazil will meet USA in Uruguay in London on November 16 before hosting Cameroon in Milton Keynes on November 20.

Brazil last met Uruguay in November 2017 when a hat-trick from Paulinho saw them record a 4-1 win in Montevideo during World Cup qualifying.

Their previous meeting with Cameroon arrived at World Cup 2014 as Neymar inspired victory with two goals in Brasilia.

HOW HAS TITE DONE AS BRAZIL COACH?

Tite Brazil 23032018

It is true the resurgence of the Selecao had expectations sky high once again in Russia earlier this year, but nobody can deny the excellent work Tite and his staff have done since taking control in June 2016.

Brazilian football was at a real low point following the infamous 7-1 defeat to Germany and two disappointing Copas America, but Tite transformed the side almost overnight and quickly ensured the five-time world champions returned to the elite of world football.

Under his command, Brazil have won 24, drawn 2 and lost only 2 matches – their only setbacks coming to Belgium at the World Cup and a 1-0 defeat for an experimental side against Argentina on the Brasil Global Tour in June 2017.

WHO ARE BRAZIL'S NEW PLAYERS?

Ahead of his squad announcement in September, Tite and his technical coordinator Edu made it clear that the six Brasil Global Tour dates of 2018 would be used to experiment with new faces.

The task now is to being to put together the team that will compete for the Copa America on home soil next year.

Throughout his two years in charge, Tite has maintained a strong consistency throughout his squad selections, but with a new cycle beginning this month, big changes have been made.

Tite has handed already handed out nine debuts since the World Cup (Neto, Felipe, Eder Militao, Andreas Pereira, Arthur, Lucas Paqueta, Richarlison, Everton and Pablo).

This month will see Paulinho return to the squad for the first time since the World Cup, while Napoli midfielder Allan is the high-profile new arrival.

Big defender Dede has returned after being ineligible last month due to his club commitments, while Douglas Costa is also back and holding midfielder Walace of Hannover also retained his place.
