The Wolfsburg midfielder, who moved from Bayern Munich in the summer, says he is humbled to be linked with the Catalan giantsBrazil midfielder Luiz Gustavo has welcomed reports linking him to Spanish champions Barcelona.
The Wolfsburg man only moved to the Volkswagen Arena in August, signing a deal running until 2018, but has been linked with a swift departure from German football as Barca look to bolster their ranks.
Gustavo has been a key member of the Selecao since coach Luiz Felipe Scolari's appointment, forming a formidable midfield partnership with Paulinho as Brazil lifted the Confederations Cup in June, and the 26-year-old is delighted that his fine form is seeing him linked with some the biggest clubs in the world.
"It's always good to have your name linked to Barcelona," he told Globo Esporte.
"This is the third time there has been interest from them.
"I have a long contract which includes a buyout fee, and if anyone wants to pay that, they can sign me."
Brazil continue their World Cup preperations as the Gillette Brasil Global Tour hits South Africa in March.
