Coach Luis Suarez has named a total of four players from English football for their upcoming Gillette International Soccer Series tests against the Selecao and EcuadorHonduras coach Luis Suarez has confirmed the squad that will travel to USA to meet Brazil and Ecuador in the upcoming Gillette International Soccer Series.
Premier League stars Wilson Palacios and Maynor Figueroa are among four players selected from English football, while the group also contains four from MLS.
“These games are a reward for my players,” said Suarez, who led Honduras through the CONCACAF hexagonal to secure qualification for World Cup 2014.
“Their call-ups are recognition of their extremely satisfying achievements.“

Defenders: Juan Pablo Montes (Motagua), Brayan Beckeles (Olimpia), Arnold Peralta (Rangers), Maynor Figueroa (Hull City), Victor Bernardez (San Jose Earthquakes), Juan Carlos Garcia (Wigan Athletic), Emilio Izaguirre (Celtic).
Midfielders: Jorge Claros (Motagua), Wilson Palacios (Stoke City), Edder Delgado (Real Espana), Boniek Garcia (Houston Dynamo), Andy Najar (Anderlecht), Roger Espinoza (Wigan Athletic) and Marvin Chavez (San Jose Earthquakes).
Forwards: Jerry Bengtson (New England Revolution), Carlo Costly, Rony Martinez (Real Sociedad) and Jerry Palacios (Liga Deportiva Alajuelense).
Honduras face Brazil in Miami on November 16 before meeting Ecuador in Houston on November 19.
