The Selecao will join Argentina, Ecuador, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Honduras and Chile for fixtures across New Jersey, Miami, St Louis and Toronto in November

The Gillette International Soccer Series will be launched in North America in November, featuring Brazil alongside some of the world’s leading footballing nations.

The Selecao will be joined by Argentina, Ecuador, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Honduras and Chile. Fixtures will be played across New Jersey, Miami, St Louis and Toronto.

Brazil come to North America after winning the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup on home soil. The Brazilian side is spearheaded by new FC Barcelona signing Neymar. Managed by 2002 World Cup winning coach Luis Felipe Scolari, the team also features Paris-Saint Germain defender Thiago Silva, FC Barcelona right-back Dani Alves and Chelsea midfielder Oscar, amongst numerous other star players.

Argentina, led by FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi, have already qualified for the World Cup. They have won the tournament twice and features top players such as Sergio Aguero (Manchester City), Angel Di Maria (Real Madrid) and Gonzalo Higuain (Napoli).

Ecuador recently reached its third World Cup in the last four attempts after finishing fourth in South American qualifying. The team, coached by Colombian Reinaldo Rueda, is led by Antonio Valencia (Manchester United), Jefferson Montero (Morelia) and Felipe Caicedo (Lokomotiv Moscow).

Chile, coached by Argentine Jorge Sampaoli, will make their 10th World Cup appearance next summer after finishing in third place in South American qualifying. The team is led by Alexis Sanchez (FC Barcelona), Arturo Vidal (Juventus) and Matias Fernandez (Fiorentina).

Honduras and Bosnia & Herzegovina complete the Gillette International Soccer Series, having both qualified for the World Cup after very successful campaigns. Bosnia & Herzegovina bring stars Edin D┼żeko (Manchester City) and Asmir Begovic (Stoke City) while Honduras bring Wilson Palacios (Hull City) and Maynor Figeroa (Stoke City). These matches will provide an ideal test for both sides against some of the favourites to triumph at next year’s World Cup.
