As host nation of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Brazil will not play any qualification matches and therefore will compete in friendlies against the greatest nations from around the world in preparation for the tournament, ensuring that the demand to play Brazil and the quality of the games will be extremely high. To date, Brazil have played England (twice), France, Switzerland, Portugal, Australia, Italy and Russia.
Being the only team to compete in every World Cup and having won the competition a record five times, the ‘Seleção’ are arguably the world’s leading football brand. Pitch International has secured the exclusive rights to manage and commercialise all Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) friendly matches until the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
