The 21-year-old was the hero as her side stunned highflying Nadezhda on the road on Saturday

Nigerian international Halimatu Ayinde scored the only goal as Minsk snatched a narrow 1-0 away win against Nadezhda in a Belarus Women Premier League encounter on Saturday.

Ayinde, who has been impressive since joining the Belarus women league champions from Western New York Flash in July, netted in the second half to snatch victory for the visitors.

The goal is Ayinde's second for Minsk in her third league appearance as Minsk secured nine points from three successive games.

The Nigerian midfielder will looks forward to improving her form to make the coach Florence Omagbemi's Super Falcons squad for November's Africa Women's Nations Cup in Cameroon.
